Giovanni Trilleras is the founder of FPS and has actively managed the group since early 2018. A Boston College trained Nurse Practitioner and a traveler at heart, he spent several years voyaging the country & world after graduating. Upon his return, Giovanni focused his talents in healthcare organizations, dedicating himself to providing relief to hospitals & clinics affected by the Physician shortage. His first client was a Medical Examiner’s Office in Florida, & shortly thereafter Giovanni fell in love with the world of Forensics. Giovanni & the FPS team are committed to the Forensics community by providing a full consultative & concierge service, streamlining assistance in the avenues asked of him from both providers and offices alike.

Dr. Samuel Ayala is a healthcare executive with 12+ years in patient care and business operations. While earning his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara & after practicing in large hospitals & rural clinics, he saw the need for proficient Physician administrators. Sam has since dedicated his career to healthcare administrations by implementing policies affecting patient care & business success. Joining FPS has given Sam the ability to consult with offices and providers who are looking for new ways to improve the Forensic community, at both the local & national levels. In his free time, you can find him spending time outdoors with his wife of 14 years, his three rambunctious boys, and his three dogs.

With over 30 years of IT experience, including 12 years in healthcare, Monica Mendoza is an accomplished technological professional. She is a Boston College alumna, multilingual, who’s passionate about AI and machine learning. Monica is known for her ability to optimize workflows, processes, and technical resources. She is proficient in several database languages and has expertise in system building and integration, DevOps support, data analysis, engineering, architecture, and process improvement. Monica holds numerous professional certifications and has led many successful IT projects.
Born in Cartagena, Colombia, Monica has lived in the United States most of her life. She currently lives outside Boston, MA, and enjoys frequent trips to Florida. Monica is a proud mother of two, a grandmother, and has a supportive life partner. Her hobbies include traveling, exploring new cuisines, and caring for her grandchild as a part-time nanny.

Lou Kramer has been part of the FPS team since 2020. Outside of FPS, she has served as the Director of the Pathologists’ Assistant program at Wayne State University’s Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences since 2016, and she has chaired the American Association of Pathologists’ Assistants Forensic Task Force since 2019.
With FPS, Lou works as a travel forensic pathologists’ assistant, helping understaffed medical examiner’s offices across the country and beyond. Her extensive forensic experience includes roles as a medical examiner investigator, autopsy technician, and expert in autopsy research and data collection. Since 2023, Lou has focused on increasing access to Board Certified Forensic Pathologists for families and firms, assisting with independent secondary reviews, and helping people understand death certificates and autopsy reports.
In her free time, Lou loves exploring new places and cultures through travel. She cherishes spending quality time with her husband and their four dogs, who always bring joy and adventure into their lives. Whether she’s traveling for a Spartan race or relaxing at home, Lou values every moment.

Gianna Zuzolo joins FPS with 13 years of experience in Hospitality and Human Resources in Las Vegas. She began her career as a Level 2 Sommelier for various venues on the Las Vegas Strip, quickly advancing into management roles. She managed HR and supported the Finance Directors at one of the longest-running and most renowned hotel-casinos before joining FPS in late 2023.
As the VP of Operations, Gianna leverages her unique blend of hospitality and corporate expertise to develop new projects that enhance the experience for Medical Examiner/Coroner Offices, families, and firms across the USA. Outside of her professional life, Gianna enjoys exploring the vibrant cafes and music venues of Las Vegas.

Reynold brings over 30 years of successful experience in customer service, sales, and marketing—specifically in coordinating forensic laboratory services—to his role as Director of Client Relations. He takes pride in building strong professional relationships to support and facilitate interactions between clients and assigned locum staff. His deep understanding of the dynamics of death investigation ensures a premier level of customer support in every aspect of your experience with FPS.
A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, PA, Reynold has traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally, both professionally and personally. He is a passionate sports fan who enjoys watching and attending live sporting events. His hobbies include bowling, exploring new dining experiences, and embracing all that life has to offer.

Becca brings a wealth of experience from 9+ years in the nonprofit sector, specializing in trauma-informed care and crisis management. With a Master of Public Health degree and international service experience through the Peace Corps in Botswana, Becca possesses a unique perspective on impactful communication and advocacy. As FPS LLC’s Director of Marketing & Communications, Becca leverages this background to lead purpose-driven marketing strategies that elevate FPS’s mission and values. Their expertise in fostering connection and resilience within communities enhances FPS’s efforts to engage clients and promote innovative solutions in forensic, autopsy, and related services that provide crucial support in both the medical and legal fields.
Passionate about all things health and wellness, Becca enjoys spending free time in workout classes, experimenting with new recipes, and engaging in fun activities that keep life balanced and vibrant.

Christina Jennings is an experienced administrative professional with over a decade of diverse admin experience. Growing up in a military family, Christina has traveled extensively across the U.S. and Europe, and even graduated in Germany. She settled in Las Vegas in 2009 and has proudly called it home ever since.
Christina joined the FPS team in 2022 and currently serves as the team’s Executive Administrator. She plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, handling travel arrangements, and organizing many of the conference/outreach events. Christina’s expertise and friendly demeanor make her an invaluable part of the FPS team.

Allyson Lapansie has been a member of the FPS team since 2022, initially serving as a travel Forensic Pathologists’ Assistant after graduating from Wayne State University’s Pathologists’ Assistant program that same year. In her current position, Allyson travels across the country to aid medical examiner’s offices by providing critical day-to-day support and expertise in postmortem examinations.
In 2023, Allyson expanded her contributions by taking on the role of Clinical Affairs Specialist, where she facilitates & coordinates private consulting case requests. In this capacity, she connects clients & families with Board Certified Forensic Pathologists, assisting them in interpreting autopsy reports, medical records, and other critical documents.
In her downtime, Allyson enjoys diving into a good book and spending time with her dog, Zuko. Whether exploring new literary worlds or enjoying nature, she values the balance between her professional responsibilities and personal interests.

Ricky got his start in the industry as a mortuary employee, working in the field for five years before transitioning to a full-time role as a medical death investigator and forensic autopsy technician. He has over 12 years of experience in the field. As a traveling tech for FPS, he has helped offices navigate staff shortages, manage heavy caseloads, and train new staff. His experience during the Las Vegas October 1 shooting has been particularly valuable in assisting offices with establishing their own mass fatality procedures.
He joined the FPS family in 2024, helping to coordinate private autopsies for families in need.

Aaron is a forensic autopsy technician with over seven years of experience performing autopsies and managing morgue operations. While working in this field, he became aware of the staffing shortage in medical forensics. In response, he joined FPS in 2024 as a contracted technician, taking on an expanded role in private case outreach. This role is especially meaningful to him, as it allows him to identify unmet needs across the country and connect grieving families with medical professionals.
In his free time, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. Together, they love playing video games, camping, fishing, hunting, going to the beach, and simply being outdoors.

Alex Wasserman provides over a decade of experience in business management & finance. He takes pride in not being your ‘typical finance guy’ by bringing along a wonderful blend of personality, professionalism, brainstorming, problem solving, helpfulness, dedication, and analytical thinking skills. Having a desire to combine his creative & analytical sides, he double majored in Math, Graphic Design, & also minored in Computer Applications while at the State University of New York College @ Cortland. After moving to Las Vegas in 2006 with only a suitcase of clothes and his computer, Alex quickly grew to love the city. Since then, he has built a family, and plans to stay in Vegas for the foreseeable future. Combining his experiences in management and finance, many consider Alex to be a ‘Jack of all trades, and a master at some.’
